SITE CLASSIFICATION

Whether you are building a new house, unit, garage or extension, your building’s foundations are the most important consideration.  The performance of your building rests on its foundations.

In order to ensure that your foundations are designed to your site’s unique conditions a geological investigation, commonly referred to as a Soil Test, is required to provide a Classification for your site in accordance with the Australian Standard AS 2870 – 2011.

Rock Solid Earth has provided over 12,000 reports to customers and this means our Consulting advice is backed by a huge wealth of local knowledge to draw upon without leaving the office.

If you are still in planning stages - or thinking about an extension, help your architect, builder or engineer estimate appropriate footings for your building by using our InfoMAP. We make sure their information is correct. Click here for more information.
